Yukon Nvmt 4X50 Night Vision Monocular
The NVMT 4x50 night vision monocular is an incredible multi-functional unit; both compact and lightweight, this versatile monocular weighs only 13oz. Featuring a durable, Rubber Armor body the 4x50 is weather resistant and completely capable of being taken off the beaten path. The built-in Pulse IR system uses a powerful infrared illuminator to provide added light detection under conditions where there is little or no detectable light and the illuminator’s pulsating beam reaches 2 to 3 times farther than other infrared systems and reduces battery drain. The NVMT series is the epitome of what a multitasking line should be; completely accessory driven, this monocular has the ability to be converted into a riflescope, mounted to head gear or transformed into a night vision camera. Available accessories include a IR flashlight, digital camera adapter, NVMT head gear kit and NVMT riflescope conversion kit. The NVMT 4x50 is backed by Yukon’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

What do you think about this Night Vision Monocular?
hi, I want to purchase a night vision monocular without paying a fortune for it. What do you guys think about the Yukon spirit 4X50? Does anyone have any experience with it? I read some reviews but I still want some more info before I make my purchase. Also does the image appear green. Because a relative of mine bought a $400 NV monocular and it looks as if your looking through a camera (black and white) and the image is not very clear.
here is the link of the Product

This one is likely worse than your relative's. Its low quality and 1st generation. Real good night vision cost thousands to over 10k if you want clear B&W or Green.

Thanks
The best place to buy is sportsmansguide.com, they carry several models and let those who purchased them rate them. They ship quicly and are price competitive with anyone else. I have a nightowl (green tube) unit and a yukon ccd unit which can be used in daylight as a 5x binocular. ATN makes a great unit but they are pricey. Good luck finding one you like

Which is better?
Thanks
Anything that uses the ITT intesifier tube. Pinnacle or Moro are the companies that use the ITT tube. In fact US Customs restricts exporting the ITT tube to NATO countries only. Mil-Spec Yukon is junk compared to those.
